The SoulKite Brazil

SoulKite began years ago in Ceará with the passion of Tomaz for kitesurfing. The idea arose of using it to change people's lives and connect them with nature. More than a radical sport, it has become a philosophy of life. Years later, already located in the Island of Guajiru, SoulKite is one of the great promoters of kitesurfing, realizing diverse activities so that more people learn and enjoy the sport. SoulKite teaches sailing for people of all ages and from all levels. It also carries out social work with children, integrating the local community with the sport. And, finally, it offers downwinds and kitetrips for kitesurfers.

TOMAZ Andre

Tomaz was born in Recife. Fortunately, at age 3, he came to live in Fortaleza. At the age of 13 he started surfing. But it was at 25 that he found kitesurfing. After a few years he mastered the practice, also participating in official kitewave strapless competitions such as Ceará 2011 / 12and Brazil 2012. Between 2011 and 2013 he lived and taught at the Cumbuco beach, a barn of talent within the sport.

When he moved to Itarema / Island of Guajiru, he returned to teach. He trained for an international certified organization to teach kite and joined the network in order to improve his teaching techniques.

For Tomaz, "in this world what matters is to feel the freedom that kitesurf provides". After all, more than a sport, kite is a lifestyle!

Downwind from Cumbuco to Barra Grande along with SoulKite was fantastic. It was the biggest adventure in my 8 years of kitesurfing and I will definitely do it again the next time I am in Brazil.

About 4 years ago I made my first trip to Ceará. I was amazed by the scenery, the weather and the people, but what amazed me the most was a day when I arrived in one of the beautiful lagoons and saw several colorful kites moving in the wind. At that moment I fell in love! It was love at first sight through kitesurfing! And that's when I thought, I want to do it.
Then I met my teacher Tomaz André, and spent the rest of the days of my trip just doing kite lessons.
What I can say about this person, he is an incredible and enlightened person, considerate, loves what he does, and loves the sport that he practices. From those first classes came a great friendship between student and teacher. I consider him a very special person.
Kitesurfing has become the main and best addiction of my life. It brought me the best friends I have today. It took me to see places in Brazil and in the world that I would never imagine going, all in search of the best wind conditions.
There is no better feeling than being in the water, feeling the wind, contemplating every incredible landscape, and at the end of the day have the feeling of satisfaction. I love this sport.

Lars, depoimento.

A 10-day downwind between Cumbuco beach and Luis Correia in Piaui was an incredible experience. We passed by divine sand dunes, watched the magical afternoons, met people, and explored unique places for any adventurous traveler. The nights in Jericoacoara and its magic were forever stored in my memory. I have the desire to return soon to Ceara and to discover new places along with SoulKite Brazil.

I would like to thank SoulKite for having made my kitetrip possible between Jericoacoara and Atins. It was a multi-day adventure at sea provided with all the guidance and security for that route. In addition to all the professionalism related to the sport, SoulKite can also provide moments of great fun and great friendship because the team is very caring. They do everything for us to feel good in the most inhospitable environments of kitesurfing!
