The Island of Guajiru
The Island of Guajiru (also know as Ilha do Guajiru) is one of the best places in the world to kitesurfing. During high season the winds are constant between 25 and 30 knots. It is one of the safest places to learn kitesurfing, because the water is flat and the sea is enclosed forming a lagoon. The island has a phenomenal nature and is close to several other kitesurfing spots in Ceará which allows a variety of Kitetrips and downwinds.
